Description

The Scout 3 Carbon Fiber ARTF UAV is the almost ready to fly version of Scout 3. This quadcopter kit comes with an Arduino Mini flight controller and a 6 degrees of freedom Sensor Board (IMU). The Arduino Mini and IMU gives Scout 3 the ability to auto-stablilize.

 

All electronics and wiring come soldered. The flight controller comes pre-programmed and tuned for the Scout 3.

 

If needed the Scout 3 can be further configured via FTDI Breakout or XBee's on a PC or Mac.

 

The Scout's airframe is made of carbon fiber, which provides a very strong yet lightweight airframe which is designed to be rugged and have the ability for long flight times.

This kit includes:

  • 1 Carbon Fibre Airframe.

  • 4 ESC's.

  • 4 Motors.

  • 4 Propellers (2 cw 2 ccw).

  • Power distribution cable with XT60 connectors and one XT60 connector for a battery.

  • Mounting hardware for the Flight Controller.

  • Flight Controller.

Note: This kit is shipped unassembled. Everything comes already soldered. It is recommended to balance the prop's before flying.
