2nd replacement :(
I stand by my earlier review, however, I'm deducting a star after another G10 frame failed to survive a hard knock.

It was mid afternoon and moments after that breakage I ordered a replacement and it arrived mid morning the next day, so 5 stars to BYOD for the superb service.

It's not indestructible!
I bought this as a replacement for a frame plate I delaminated after a full on tree hug.

This is a 6mm plate milled out to 3mm on the underside. IMHO milling weakens it and saves minimal weight. Given the choice, I’d rather have the extra weight and more strength, i.e., no milling, because if it wasn’t milled out then 4mm would probably be sufficient and come in at the same weight for less cost as it would be cheaper to manufacture. I’m not aware of Lumenier being so confident as to warrant the plate against breakage or delamination, but I wish they would.

That said, it will take a good beating and repair by replacement is fairly easy compared to a QAV500.
