Sigma EQ Touch AC / DC LiPo Charger 90W

This charger has now been replaced with the newer Sigma EQ Touch II AC / DC LiPo Charger 80W

This high-performance, balance charger features the very latest ‘touch’ sensitive LCD screen for simple and logical programming. It is perfect for charging and discharging Li-Po, Li-Ion, Li-Fe, Ni-MH, Nicad and Lead Acid batteries. With a useful total charge current of up to 10A and a maximum limit of 90W total charge power, the Sigma EQ Touch will cater for a wide variety of battery types and ‘C’ ratings. The LCD screen provides a graphical display of the charge/discharge process to help understand the condition of the pack and each cell in it (Lithium only with balance connector). There is a function for long term storage to help optimise your Lithium type batteries and prolong their life. Additional features such as an internal independent balancer, battery resistance measurement and a digital power output make this a versatile charger. Input power can be 11~18v DC or 100~240v AC, so is perfect for use at either the field or at home.

Supplied with a universal balance board (XH,TP,EH and PQ), a DC input lead with removable crocodile clips and a ‘T’ type main battery connection lead as standard.

Please note that this charger is supplied with Deans connectors for battery charging, the batteries in the store come with XT60's if you are ordering batteries and this charger you will need to change the connector to "XT60". These can be ordered in the store.

Great product - Delivered promptly, Thanks.

Thanks BYOD for despatching this battery charger to me so promptly. I was initially a little dismayed when I noticed it's maximum charge current of 10A, as my 4S 6600mAh lipo batteries have maximum charge rate of 31A, and I thought this would make for prolonged charge times; however it seems I was wrong to feel this way, because re-charge time is under an hour from when my F550 blips it's low voltage warning, to a full charge, and the current output is well under 10A throughout.

Sigma Touch

Great Charger, works well and charges my 4s 5200 mAh batteries up in about an hour, recommended for ease of use and clear function menu.

Great charger on specs - but has issues

On paoer, this seems to be a great charger - 90Watts, so plenty of power or charging higher capacity batteries. Unfortunately this charger sems to have a firmware/hardware fault that affects the charging of 4S batteries from a is charged state. This is not a fault of BYOD, who were extremely helpful in helping me identify the problem. The issue has been raised with Ripmax (UK distributor) who state that a later version with updated firmware, will be available soon. If that charger lives up to the spec, it will be a great charger - and I'll write an updated review when I receive it. But for now, I wouldn't recommend this for charging 4S batteries.

1 star for the charger. 5stars to BYOD whose customer service was excellent.
