Description

Metall Danny Customized Vortex 275 Pro with the new V-Spec 2205-2000kV motors and 6 inch arms. Designed in cooperation with the king of the forest himself the Vortex 275 Pro Metall Danny Edition is also equipped with the lighter weight titanium screw set, upgraded Runcam Swift CCD camera with the same specifications as the incredibly popular HS1177 and zipper case that will accommodate the 275 Pro Metall Danny edition with the included 6 inch propellers.

The ImmersionRC Vortex 275 Pro Metall Danny edition has an integrated F3 based flight controller, with a 3 axis Gyro, 3 axis accelerometer, and barometer pre-programmed with the latest Betaflight firmware this means that the Vortex flight controller is future-proof through downloadable updates. The PIDs (tuning of the systems performance) come pre-tuned so that the ImmersionRC Vortex 275 Pro Metall Danny edition flies great straight out of the box however for the advanced user these parameters can be adjusted through the built-in OSD  this is a very easy to use menu, and being driven directly from the R/C Tx there is no need for a laptop at the field, no more dip-switches to flip or adjust. As well as this the advanced user will appreciate the "Blackbox" feature which logs the data that the Gyro and other sensors record enabling you to see the micro-vibrations not visible with the eye and achieve the perfect tune. The Fusion FC Board installed in the ImmersionRC Vortex 275 Pro Metall Danny is a "Gen 2" and uses the latest F3 processor, this allows the user to take advantage of faster processing times and ultimately better flight performance.

The ImmersionRC Vortex 275 Pro Metall Danny edition has a direct high-speed interface to a full-graphic OSD system, with USB port on the back of the Vortex 275 Pro quad, this is used for programming and updates. The pre-installed NexWaveRF 5.8GHz Race Band video transmitter, with 40 channel support, ensures compatibility with any 5.8 GHz A/V Rx on the market. ImmersionRC’s exclusive RaceBand allows for up to 8 pilots to fly together. This makes the ImmersionRC Vortex 275 Pro Metall Danny edition a very flexible system which should work with any other systems you already have. The video transmitter has "dynamic power control", this allows the Vortex to change the power output automatically when the quad is disarmed the video transmitter power is lowered, when the motors start the video transmitter increases the power to full for the best video link. Please check that you are allowed to use the installed transmitter in your country.

The flexible Vortex camera mounts supports both a flight cam, and a HD camera such as a GoPro, a GoPro mount is included in the box. The Runcam Swift 600tvl CCD flight camera is an equivalent to the HS177 camera and gives the pilot a clear image to allow for great detail at high speeds. The flight camera is protected from impacts as it is mounted inside the frame on a vibration-dampened carbon-fiber plate. The ImmersionRC Vortex 275 Pro Metall Danny edition flight camera is mounted on an adjustable bracket which allows the camera to be tilted to ensure a good forward view during high-speed racing.

The powerful 3A switching regulator built into the Vortex allows you to add any HD cam (GoPro included), this will take its power direct from the flight pack, allowing the unnecessary camera batteries to be left at home and reducing the overall weight of the system. The Vortex includes an industry-first; you can tune the flight parameters from Pro-Racers right in the box. just select the racer, prop size, HD camera choice, and the Vortex OSD will setup the flight controller for you.

The Vortex has been in testing and some of the biggest names in FPV Quad Racing have tweaked it for peak performance. A set of 12 24-bit RGB LEDs sit on the tail of the Vortex, sandwiched safely between the upper, and lower frame plates. These LEDs are controlled by a dedicated 32-bit ARM processor, this means that you program the LEDs to show something as mundane as the pilot’s favourite colour, or just about anything else which is released in future updates of the user-upgradable firmware.

All you need to fly is in the box, just add a compatible R/C Rx such as the FrSky XSR , a battery, and go fly, everything else is included, from the SpiroNET Tx antenna to the props.
