Description

The Finwing Air Titan UBEC is a switchable 5v-6v 6 amp power supply designed for electric aircraft requiring a separate source of power to the reciever and servo's. In a situation where the ESC is OPTO isolated or when the built in BEC does not supply sufficient power. This product is recommended when using multiple high torque servo's such as the Finwing 6kg Metal Gear Servo as also used on the Finwing Air Titan.

The output on the UBEC can be set to 5v, 5.5v or 6v via the blue jumper depending on your requirements, each setting still allowing for a 6 amp draw with a Max burst of 10 amps for short periods. Many other UBEC's on the market will only supply 5v @ 3amps, which can often find you not getting the best performance out of your servo's or worst case scenerio, having a starved supply of power to your receiver causing a "brown out."

A standard servo style connector is used to connect power from the UBEC to your choice of hardware. You then also have a lead requiring power in to the UBEC which as standard has no connector fitted, leaving the choice up to you.
