The DJI Phantom 2 V1 +

DJI Zenmuse H3-3D V1.1 Brushless Gimbal is the next step in the evolution for the Phantom line up of products. The Phantom 2 features the same compact and highly integrated design, however it comes with FPV / First Person View flying and Aerial Photography support right out of the box. All of the Phantom 2's hardware mountings and software tuning are all carried out prior to delivery, this means that when the propellers have been attached, the LiPo flight battery charged and transmitter batteries installed (Not supplied in the box) so it can fly immediately. Additional features seen on the Phantom 2 include a higher payload, built-in intelligent battery, H3-3D gimbal support and other functions which are class leading in the Ready To Fly world.

latest DJI Phantom Motor and the 9443 Self-Tightening Propellers. The radio controller needs 4 AA batteries and the gimbal control lever is on back to the lower left hand side to give easy use and control over the movement of the DJI Zenmuse H3-3D V1.1 Brushless Gimbal.

Customised H3-3D Gimbal Support

A customized DJI Zenmuse H3-3D v1.1 gimbal, designed for easy assembly and connection is supplied for the Phantom 2. Its stability ensures high quality footage and the camera’s pitch can be controlled from the transmitter, allowing pilots to be more creative. The addition of the 3rd axis to dampen the "yaw" of the craft found in the H3-3D gimbal means that there is less post producttion work to be done and the video footage direct from the camera is outstanding.

Auto Return-to-Home & Landing

If the Phantom 2 and its controller are disconnected during flight for any reason, the Naza-M autopilot system’s failsafe protection will come to the rescue. Outputs of all command sticks on the controller will go to the center position and if the GPS signal is good enough the Phantom 2 will return to home and land automatically. You can also program a One Key Go Home function through the Assistant software.

Intelligent Orientation Control (IOC)

In traditional multi rotor flight, forward is tied to the direction of the nose, however using the IOC function flights are much easier. In the Course Lock mode, forward direction is always in the direction the nose faced at takeoff, while in the Home Lock mode forward takes the Phantom 2 back to where it took off. Users can adjust between these two modes to make sure the best flight option is used to match the pilot.

Advanced Power Management

Power consumption has been improved by a custom power management system that monitors power capacity and voltage. The LED's on the smart battery indicates the power left in the battery, and low power warning are shown on the arm LED's. If power drops below safe levels, the Phantom 2 will land automatically during low battery level warning stage.

Easy Battery Replacement

Integrated battery compartment allows for near instant battery changes.

Self-tightening Propeller

Install propellers without worry using self-tightening propellers that only install in the right place. These will also tighten during flight, enhancing safety. All propellers have been carefully and dynamically balanced to eliminate the jello effect.
