DJI Matrice M600 & Ronin MX

The DJI Matrice M600 is DJI's most technologically advanced aerial photography platform to date. Being purposely designed for aerial photography and industrial applications whilst combined with the latest DJI A3 flight controller and Lightbridge 2 HD Video Link system, the Matrice M600 is a very versatile and reliable system.

The modular design makes building and configuring the DJI Matrice M600 to your requirements quicker and easier than ever before. The dust proof E2000 Tuned Propulsion means less wear on the system in more challenging environments and increased time between service intervals. The latest design in motor technology means that the motors are actively cooled in flight allowing for reliable operation during extended periods of flight.

A wide range of the Zenmuse gimbals are compatible with the M600 without the need for modifications. These consist of; Ronin-MX, GH4, A7, X5R & Zenmuse XT. With a max payload limit of 6.0Kg, a huge range of camera's can be carried when combined with the Ronin-MX gimbal from Micro Four Thirds systems to the RED Epic.

The M600 uses sine-wave drive smart ESC's. This ensures the propulsion system performs safely, accurately and efficiently while the DJI A3's adaptive flight control systems constantly adjust based on the payload and flight conditions. For enhanced accuracy, the A3 flight controller can be upgraded with two additional GNSS and IMU units to the A3 Pro or with D-RTK GNSS for improved accuracy.

The DJI Go App now supports the M600, as does the new DJI Assistant 2 software. All the key information needed for pilot and payload operator are provided real time via the Go App including; Live HD Video, Battery Status, Redundancy Status, Radio & Video Transmission Strength, Advanced Camera Settings and much more. The all new DJI Assistant 2 supports firmware updates, combined with the new Ground Station and a flight simulator.

The M600 is fully compatible with DJI's Onboard and Mobile SDK, enabling users to meet unique requirements from building bespoke software for industrial applications.

DJI Ronin MX

The DJI Ronin-MX is designed for rapid setup and a host of different camera configurations. The Ronin-MX has been engineered to provide unique stability for a multitude of camera's used every day on sets worldwide. SmoothTrack algorithms ensure movements are fluid in every possible configuration. A repositioned and well placed Lipo battery allows for better overall balance of the rig whilst stability is enhanced through the camera cage which locks the camera into position both top and bottom. The decreased noise from the motors prevents noise being picked up from set mic's. The gimbal is constructed from lightweight Magnesium which brings the gimbal in at 6.11lb (2.77Kg). This reduced weight allows the Ronin-MX to be mounted and flown on the M600, even when carrying camera's as advanced as the RED EPIC and to vehicles with a minimum impact on handling.

With increased power from the motors and improved IMU's on the Ronin-MX, the gimbal can now resist higher G-forces which helps to maintain stability and a flat horizon when mounted on an aircraft or vehicle. When mounted to the M600 aircraft, the gimbal communicates directly with DJI's flight controller, and when connected to other vehicles the use of an optional GPS module is used allowing to stabilize actively for a smoother shot.

The Ronix-MX can rotate a full 360 degree's when mounted to aircraft or vehicles, allowing for more creative shots. This is further enhanced by the increased tilt axis ranging from 90 degrees straight down and beyond to 135 degrees. Three different modes are selectable when using the Ronin-MX and SmoothTrack is also present, giving filmmakers a range of creative angles and movement.

There is also compatibility with the DJI Lightbridge 2, which allows for a long range HD quality video link from air to ground for up to 3.1 miles (5Km). If used with the DJI Focus and Focus Expansion Module focus or aperture can be adjusted remotely with the twist of a wrist. Another optional remote Start/Stop add-on gives the ability to control shooting on a range of cameras.

Using the DJI Assistant software and the dedicated Assistant app for iOs and Android enables complete customization of the Ronin-MX's functions. If the Lightbridge 2 is used, control of how the M600 flies including Intelligent Flight Modes, remote control modes, movement of the gimbal, and a live HD video feed can be achieved.
